50 children attended the Children’s Day Event at Verulam Child Welfare Society. The main aim was to enrich the children from impoverished households by providing them with a fun filled day of games and entertainment. The children were also equipped about safety measures during the school holidays. They were treated to burger meals from McDonalds and each child was presented with a bag from McDonalds. An Easter egg hunt was part of the day’s entertainment for the children. Miss Y. Nankhoo sponsored the children’s meals.
