VCWS hosted a programme on the 16th May 2023 in our boardroom. The target group was 50 foster parents from different areas on our caseloads. Social worker Miss B.P. Cele discussed the causes of HIV/Aids, Negligence due to substance abuse and having unprotected sex, knowing your status, counselling and medication adherence. Ms. S. Mbonambi further discussed the preventative measures that included contraceptives and health education. Meals were provided for 50 parents.
Each client received a meal from society and hamper sponsored by Yajna Nankhoo.
